Women’s Ministry Afternoon at BPC

Our first Women’s Ministry Afternoon is at BPC, 53 Gardenia Street, Blackburn. Sarah Amoah will share a testimony, and we’ll enjoy afternoon tea together. Please bring a plate to share. All women and young ladies are welcome.
Annual General Meeting
Sunday 18 October 2026, 1:00pm
Our AGM is at BPC. We will discuss a possible change to the worship service time, and approve some church funds to improve our facilities so they are safe for children, welcoming for visitors, and useful for future gospel ministry opportunities. All members are warmly encouraged to come.
Seniors’ Morning Tea at Donvale PC

Donvale PC holds its Seniors’ Morning Tea in the church hall at 5 McGowans Road, Donvale. Yvonne Moodie will speak about her family heritage and her mother’s artwork from the 1940s. Please RSVP by Tuesday 20 October (contact Mitch for details). A gold coin donation is welcome but not required. You’d be most welcome to join them.
Pizza and Paint working bee

PYV Ballarat Big Day Out (Year 7 to 12)

Presbyterian Youth Victoria’s final Big Day Out for 2026, at Grace Ballarat Presbyterian Church, for Year 7 to 12 youth. Bible talk from Rev Samuel Christian on ‘Jesus Shaped Lives’, with discussion groups, singing, food and activities. Cost $10. Register at pyv.org.au.
Reformation Sunday Prayer & Praise

The Presbytery of Maroondah is holding a combined service of prayer and praise at Donvale PC, 5 McGowans Road, Donvale. Rev Dr Jared Hood preaches from Psalm 119:129–136, marking the Reformation and 500 years since Tyndale’s English New Testament. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with other Presbyterian churches in our area. Everyone is welcome.

Proclaim: Evangelism Conference at Donvale
Friday 6 to Saturday 7 November 2026
At Donvale Presbyterian Church, 5 McGowans Road, Donvale. Friday 5:30pm to 9:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm. An inspiring weekend gathering as one church to learn how to share the gospel. Includes full conference access and a preferred workshop both days, catering both days (lunch included Saturday), and kids’ programs on Saturday for kinder (3 to 5) and primary (5 to 12) children (registration required). Carols in Furness Park
Saturday 12 December 2026, 4:30pm to 6:30pm
We’re hosting a free family Christmas afternoon at Furness Park, Main Street, Blackburn. The park opens at 4:30pm, we sing carols at 5:30pm, and we finish at 6:30pm. There will be a barbecue, kids’ activities, and a short talk about the real reason for Christmas. Please start praying for the neighbours we’ll invite, and think about who you could bring. Helpers are needed: please let Mitch know which role you could take by Sunday 8 November.
