Children are part of the family of God here, not an interruption to it. We are always glad when they are in the room.
A Sunday School is on the way
We value the children God has given this church, and we want them taught the Bible at their own level, in their own words. We are working towards starting a Sunday School in the near future.
When it begins, every leader will hold a current Working With Children Check, will have been checked and approved through the Presbyterian Church of Victoria’s Safe Church Unit, and will have completed Safe Church training before the first session runs. We will put the details here as soon as we have dates.
What a Sunday looks like with children
For now children stay with their parents right through the service. There are activity packs and books at the back for you to grab on your way in.
Wriggles, noises and little voices are all part of the family of God, so please do not worry about them. Nobody here minds. Come as you are, and bring them as they are.
After the service we share morning tea. It is the easiest time to meet other families, and to ask anything you like.
Keeping your children safe
Your child’s safety matters to us, and we do not leave it to good intentions. Everyone in a leadership role here holds a current Working With Children Check and has completed Safe Church training, under the Presbyterian Church of Victoria’s Safe Church Policy and Code of Conduct.
Our Child Safety page has the full picture, including who to speak to and how to raise a concern.

If you would like to ask anything before you come along, please get in touch. There is no question too small.
