Most of our waking lives are spent working or studying for work, so wouldn’t it be good to know why and how we should work? In Genesis 1 and 2 we meet the Creator who made us for good work and for good rest, and who models both for us himself. This is richer than getting the right work-life ratio: it points us to Jesus, who still calls the weary to come to him and find rest for their souls.
