Our team

Christ is the head of his church. He has given BPC a team of pastors, elders, deacons, and officers to serve and care for his people. Here is who they are.

Mitch Amoah
Pastor

Mitch leads the teaching ministry at BPC and is the main point of contact for visitors, members, and anyone with questions about the gospel. Email Mitch: mitchamoah@blackburnpc.org.au

Session (Elders)

The Session is BPC's team of elders. They shepherd the congregation, oversee teaching, and lead the church spiritually under Christ.

Interim Moderator

A quick note on the titles. An Assessor Elder is an elder from another Presbyterian church who joins our Session for a season, often during a transition, to help and advise. An Interim Moderator is a minister from another church who chairs Session meetings during a vacancy or transition, providing pastoral oversight until a permanent arrangement is in place.
