This Sunday in our series 'Alphabet of Love’ we have the third of five reflections drawing on the letter ’N’.

We have used the letter N to explore YHWH, the Name above every Name. These four consonants in Hebrew are translated as I AM WHO I AM.

This Name is represented in English Bibles as ‘the LORD’ (note the capitals) or as Jehovah (in older Bibles) or Yahweh (more often nowadays). This profoundly revered and usually unspoken name is the God of the Bible. Unsurprisingly such a Name - YHWH - comes loaded with meaning.

We have looked at the sovereign freedom and the enduring presence which it communicates.This week we explore a third facet of the Name: the relentless commitment of the God of whom the Bible speaks.
